Hi, I’m Barbara Jeanne Igoe. Thank you for visiting my
website. I am a Master-Teacher of traditional Usui Reiki
based in Santa Cruz county in Northern California.

My mission is to open your mind to the possibility that you can take control of your life and your body in ways you never imagined were possible.

Let’s face it...we are ALL made up of energy. There is no denying the fact. Science has proven it. Reiki is an ancient method of working with your energy and your connection to the Universe and the vast energy field that we are all a part of. We are already channels for the Universal Life Force, the energy that keeps us all alive. Reiki opens those channels even further to bring through vast amounts of this energy which can dissolve blockages that create imbalances and dis-ease within the mind, body and spirit.

Reiki works well with and may enhance traditional
medical treatments. Reiki is a gentle, safe and natural
method that works on an energy level to reduce pain,
relieve stress and anxiety allowing the immune system to
work at optimal levels. Treatments consist of a gentle
laying-on of hands and can be provided at my studio, in
the hospital or in the privacy of your own home.
I offer treatments for both people and animals.

You may want to take matters into your own hands and learn to do Reiki for yourself. It’s very easy to learn. I teach Reiki classes for all levels ~ beginners through ReikiMaster/Teacher. Everyone can benefit from learning Reiki ~ healthy or sick people, healthcare professionals, hospice workers, hospice patients, caregivers, teachers, parents and especially CHILDREN. Indigo & crystal children, children with special needs, energy sensitive children and children battling life-threatening conditions ALL benefit greatly from Reiki training and/or treatments. Parents and caregivers are welcome to learn Reiki along with their child. Since Reiki reduces stress and helps to create a calm environment most families would benefit from having Reiki in their lives.
